Developed by Criterion Games and Released by Namco in 2001, AirBlade is a unique entry jumping on the extreme sports trend of the early 2000s - amongst many greats like Jet Set Radio, SSX Tricky, and the Tony Hawk series. You’ll ride a hoverboard through six stages performing tricks, jumping gaps, and completing objectives in the allotted time.

The games arcade, time-attack presentation lends itself very well as a speedrun target. Runners can tackle the Any% category running through the single player campaign, or even put up times on individual levels. The most successful runs will find the shortest possible connections between the required objectives in each stage. However, once you’ve gotten the hang of the game, even a casual jog through the campaign may yield a competetive time.
